New Micromax A091 Canvas Engage launched Rs,6199: latest review By Patricbensen

          Micromax, India’s own pride, has introduced its latest Android running budget smartphone in May 2014. It is named as Micromax Canvas Engage. The latest and the fastest OS, Android 4.4 2 kitKat is its focus of attraction. It will definitely raise a real challenge to Moto E and Micromax canvas Unite 2, launched recently.  It is one of the most reasonably priced smartphones presented by Micromax as its price being Rs 6199.

           This dual SIM used handset has 4 inch IPS WVGA display with the resolution of 480 x 800 Pixels. When compared to Canvas  Unite 2 it is a little bit low and the display of the former being 4.3 inch. Powered by 1.2 Ghz Quad-core processor Micromax canvas engage presents two cameras, one at the front with 0.3MP and a rear camera with 5 MP. The main camera provides 2560 x 1920 pixels picture quality.  Even though there is no flash lights we hope the picture clarity would not be too bad since it has 5  MP rear camera.

          In the field of entertainment it never disappoints you as it has the options like HD playback, Games club, recording,  etc. The Internal memory of this brand is 4 GB at the same time there is a slot for connecting micro SD card. This 3 G smartphone is equipped with 512 MB RAM and only this can be seen as the main drawback of this brand when compared to the previously launched one.

          The battery capacity of the brand is 1500mAh Li-Ion and the company promises 5 hours of talk time in this package. According to the ebay’s list this phone contains some pre- installed applications such as Kingsoft office, Getit, Opera mini, M! Live, Smartpad, Games club, and Hike. 

A metallic finishing rear cover gives it an exquisite mien. Other facilities available in this smartphone are Wi-fi, Bluetooth, GPS/A-GPS/EDGE and  3G. The phone is devoid of sensors as Ambient Light sensor, Gyroscope, barometer, and Temperature sensor. At the same time it is furnished with Accelerometer and Proximity sensor.

New Samsung announced a low price for Galaxy Tab 3 Neo: latest review By Patricbensen

          We are inviting you all to the review of a new brand introduced by Samsung named as Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 Neo. Earlier, the White variant Wi-Fi only device is priced Rs.16750. According to the official website, now the market value of this slimmer, lighter model, compared to the previous models, is Rs 12740, which is decent price range. The popular online retailer Amazon announced an offer price Rs. 10289 along with free delivery. Considering its features and appearance the smart tab is an entry level device which aimed the normal customers worldwide. Considering its overall features with a nominal price tag we rated the device is 8 out of 10 

Display and Design

          Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 Neo has 7 inches (17.8cm) TFT WSVGA touch display with 1024X600 pixels resolution. The display features enables an average quality which sufficient for normal usage. The smart tab has 193.4 x 116.4 x 9.7 mm dimensions and 322 gram weight. The overall design of the tab is attractive and faux leather finishing at its back assures its safety in your hand.

Software

          As many previous Samsung tablets this 3G tab too runs with Android 4.2 Jelly Bean OS. The software is extremely disappointing because the software is outdated. The ‘latest’ android 4.4 KitKat OS also outdated in the market now. We can expect the Company announce on the phone at least a 4.3 version updating soon.  

Processor and performance

          If you are very conscious of colors don’t worry, this offers five different colors to you- Cream White, Ebony Black, Blue Green, Lemon Yellow and Peach Pink. This Micro SIM using tab has 1.2 GHz dual cortex A9 Marvell processor with Vivante GC1000 GPU alongside with 1 GB RAM. The processor-memory combination performance of the device is sufficient. The inbuilt storage capacity of this brand is 8 GB and by using a micro SD card you can expand it up to 32 GB. 

Camera

          Like the Samsung galaxy Tab 3, 7 inches this tab doesn’t have a front facing shooter and its 2 MP main camera on the rear has the picture resolution of 1600X 1200 pixels. The missing of a front camera, the video calling and another couple of basic needs couldn’t support which is disappointing. The rear shooter has an average quality. The daylight performance of the camera is good standing. But the low light-night, capturing results are grainy and lack of details.

Battery and connectivity

          The Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 Neo is powered by a standard 3600 mAh Li-Ion battery. The Company claims that it provides 20 hours of usage. But our quality test proved that the battery can capable up to 15 hours of mixed usage such as 3G, playing full HD videos and advanced gaming. New Apple plans to add Touch ID fingerprint sensors in every New iPhone and iPad models By Patricbensen

          Apple plans to add its Touch ID fingerprint sensor technology into the iPhone and iPad devices this year. It's only for the newly introduced flagships. However, which will be included  120 million devices this year. We think it is a huge deal.  The Company introduced the Touch ID fingerprint sensor on its prestigious Apple iPhone 5s (Review) which is a great success. 

          Apple plan to insert the sensor in the new iPhone 6 (Comparison) variants, iPad mini (Retina display version) and iPad Air (second generation). The facility is not listed in iPod iOS devices.

          In a research note obtained by the AppleInsider web, the KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo said that  Apple uses Japan Unix's laser welding equipment for modifying the Touch ID module production which helps the sensor to boost its durability.

          The Company estimated the Touch ID fingerprint sensor technology shipments from 2013 to 2015 which are calculated 36 to 120 million in 2013 and 200 to 233 million in 2014 and 2015. Apple’s business strategy aims a fabulous production rise in 233 and 94 percent respectively.

Playing HD videos and advanced mobile gaming are not recommended. Lack of problems occurred during our quality test for playing full HD videos and games.

          The smart phone has 4.5 inches IPS LCD capacitive multi touch screen with 720 x 1280 pixels resolution. Moto G provides 326 PPI (Pixels per Inch) density, which is comparatively better. The handset enables a quality viewing experience through the display. Playing full HD videos and advanced mobile gaming are sufficient and recommendable. The display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. Moto G’s design does not include the Company logo or any other branding symbol on the front panel.

Nokia Lumia 630

          The Lumia 630 dual is powered by 1.2 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 Quad Core Processor with built in Adreno 305 graphics. The device has enough powerful processor which capable of handling multitasking. But there is only 512 MB RAM, which is disappointing. 8GB internal memory and 128GB expandable memory via micro SD card are the memory options of the device. The total performance of the device is depend upon the combination of processor speed and the memory specifications. However, the dedicated processor enables a qualitative performance.

Motorola Moto G

          The Moto G dual is powered by 1.2GHz Qualcomm  Snapdragon 400 quad-core processor with built in Adreno 305 graphics. The smart phone provides a powerful usage even in multitasking. 1GB RAM and 8/16 GB internal memory are the memory options of the device. These specifications are in a sufficient level. There is no expandable memory on the device which is disappointing. When you purchase an 8GB internal memory variant, the user-accessible memory is only 5.5GB.

New Moto E dual latest review: bad camera and average battery life By Patricbensen

          Motorola Mobility LCC, The popular US smart phone manufacturing Company from Google recently introduced a budget dual SIM smart phone named Moto E. Moto G and Moto X are the flagships in the Moto series. Nominal price tag is the main attraction of the release. The smart phone is priced Rs.6,999. According to our exclusive quality test, the handset is one of the ‘value money’ device from Motorola

Design

          The first look of the handset reveals the similarities in between the Moto series. The handset is cleverly designed with a dimension of 124.8 x 64.8 x 12.3 mm (HxWxD) and 142 gram weight. The body made of plastic which feels premium quality. The rear panel cover has able to be exchanged with nine colors which are attractive and bing qualified. The body feels strong and durable.

Display 

          The Moto E has 4.3-inch qHD (1/4 resolution of Full HD) touch display with 960x540 pixels resolution. The display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. The display PPI (Pixels per Inch) density is comparatively an average range which is 256. The display also designed with water-resistant splash guard, which is an average performance. The display features little disappointing because of its quarter HD quality. It is definitely not a sufficient requirement to see full HD video and games. 

Operating System

          The Handset runs the latest Android 4.4.2 KitKat platform with advanced features. The Android cloud helps the customers to fulfill their smart phone dreams positively. Motorola promises and plans to upgrade the platform version into the latest. We can expect recently the company will announce the upgrading schedule.

Processor and Performance

          The Moto E is powered by 1.2GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 processor with A7 CPU and built in Adreno 302 400MHz single-core graphics. The low end processor features cannot support high end mobile gaming. 1GB RAM, 4GB internal memory and 32GB expandable memory via micro SD card slot are the memory options. The smart phone does not accomplish multitasking and other fastest mobile tactics.

Camera

          The handset has 5 mega pixel rear shooter. There is no LED flash on the device which is disappointing. We noticed that the performance of the camera is an average level. The photos we took from indoor are little grainy. But the outdoor shooting in daylight was much better. Night shots are poor of quality and lack of detail. We think the main inadequate thing in the device is its camera performance.

Battery

Moto E dual is powered by a standard 1980mAh lithium-ion battery which is little disappointing. The Company claims that the rechargeable battery will provide a mixed usage up to 24 hours. But our various tests proved that the power of the battery can handle only 5 hours 25 min usage even in normal level. Heavy usages like continuous calling, net browsing with 3G and playing videos may enable lack of power problems. Users will have to re charge the battery at the end of every day.

          Nokia Lumia 630 dual SIM smart phone runs the new Windows 8.1 operating system from Microsoft. This is the first device to run the new Windows OS update which enables advanced special features. According to the official web store of the Company, the Nokia Lumia 630 Dual now available starts from 11,500. But the popular online retailer ebay listed the device for Rs. 11,395.

Processor and Performance

Lumia 630 Dual is powered by 1.2 GHz Quad-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor with built in Adreno 305 graphics. It enables a sufficient performance, which includes mobile gaming and multitasking capabilities. The device has 512 MB RAM, which is disappointing. Other memory options like 8GB mass memory, 7GB free cloud storage, up to 128GB expandable memory via micro SD card slot are remarkable. However, considering its price tag and popularity the device features are brilliant and commendable.

Display

The Lumia 630 Dual has 4.5 inches (11.43 Cm) Clear Black, IPS LCD Capacitive Multipoint,  diagonal Touch screen with FWVGA (854 x 480) resolution which is an average viewing package. The display resolution is comparatively low rang and insufficient quality. The PPI (Pixels per Inch) density is 221 which is a very low range. However, our normal customer’s expectations about the touch display and its advanced features will fulfill through its diagonal multipoint touch.

Operating System

The Nokia Lumia 630 is the first dual-SIM Windows Phone which available its latest update. Windows 8.1 platform is the main attraction. Our quality tests stating that the latest mobile platform will be enacted using thousands of online applications and a sufficient cloud. The smart phone provides the service of several attractive third-party apps such as Facebook, Gameloft Gamehub, PayTM, Zomato, BoxTV, Flipkart Ebooks, Evernote and Line.

Camera

The smart phone sports 5 mega pixel digital camera on the rear panel with auto focus and lot of camera apps. There is no LED flash which is extremely disappointing. Our test shots claimed that the details and clarity were sufficient when shooting at outdoor in day light. But the low light, indoor and night shooting were disappointing due to full of noise and lacked detail.

Battery

The Nokia Lumia 630 dual is powered by a standard 1830 mAh Li-Ion battery. The Company claims that the power unit will provide 13.1 hours talk time on 3G and 16.4 hours talk time on 2G. Our power test results stating that the statistics are applied only for normal usage. Heavy usage (multi tasking includes 3G with nonstop calling, net browsing with playing videos, etc.) conditions the battery delivered 8-9 hours uninterrupted usage only. But comparing same category mobiles, the battery usage is more effective and sufficient.

          Canvas Elanza 2 A121 is one of the dual SIM budget smart phones from the popular Indian handset maker, Micromax. The smart phone now available through online for Rs. 9,499. 

Display

          The Canvas Elanza 2 A121 has a brilliant 5 inch (12.7 cm) HD TFT-IPS screen with 1280 x 720 pixel resolution. The handset enables 720p HD display, which provides a wonderful experience for viewing. The advanced display has 16.7M colour depth. Our quality tests are stating that for playing HD videos and Games through the smart phone is in a good standing.

Operating System

          The smart phone runs Android Jeally Bean 4.3 operating system which is disappointing because of its outdating value in the market. The ‘latest’ Android 4.4 KitKat OS has been out in the market now. We hope that the Company soon rolls out an update.

Performance and Memory

          Micromax Canvas Elanza 2 A121 is powered by 1.2 GHz Quad core Qualcomm Snapdragon 200(MSM8212) processor with built in graphic acceleration. The power of the processor is an above average level, which comfortable for normal usage. But the processor is not able to control heavy loaded situations like multitasking, advanced mobile gaming, etc. But considering its nominal price tag, this is not an issue. Sufficient memory options like 1GB RAM, 4GB ROM, 32GB expandable memory via micro SD Cards are available on the device.

Camera

          The handset sports dual shooters which are designed on the front and rear panels. An 8-megapixel auto focus rear camera with LED flash is the main shooter unit which performed sufficient level in the outdoors. But the indoor capturing ability is an average standing. Grainy results and poor performance in low light are the limitations. There is also a  2-megapixel auto focus front-facing camera onboard, which for video chatting needs. Considering the mega pixel ratio, the secondary camera results are attractive.

Battery Power

          Canvas Elanza 2 A121 is powered by a standard 2000 mAh Li-Ion battery. According to the Company, the power unit provides 7.5 hours talk time and 240 hours standby time. But it is in normal usage with 2G network. Heavy usage conditions like 3G, gaming, net browsing with playing videos and songs, local videos, continuous calling and video calling situations the battery usage facing more limitations. Our quality test confirmed that when the handset involving heavy usage conditions, the battery provides 5-6 hours continuous usage. 

          

          However, the Micromax Canvas Elanza 2 A121 smart phone is undoubtedly recommended.

          Micromax Canvas 2 Colours A120 smart phone has 5 inches (12.7 cm) HD IPS display with 1280 x 720 pixels resolution which provides a brilliant viewing experience. Considering its nominal price tag, the smart phone enables a vibrant package of smart features. Our quality tests stating that the touch display of the device is in good standing.  Seeing photos, videos and mobile games through the device are remarkable. 

          The smart phone runs the Google Android 4.2 Jelly Bean platform which is the main disappointing. The OS is outdated and no live pulse for mobile phone enthusiastic minds. The last released Android 4.4 KitKat operating system was out in the market for quite a while. We can definitely expect that the Company soon rolls out at least an update to 4.3 Jelly Bean OS. 

          Canvas 2 Colours is powered by 1.3 GHz quad core MT6582 processor with built in graphic acceleration which performed a sufficient level for normal usage. Considering the advanced gaming and multitasking capabilities, the processor just lacks a little. But considering the amount we spent for buying this product, it is not a matter. The smart phone has 1GB RAM and 4GB ROM. The handset carries an expandable memory slot for expanding its memory up to 32GB via micro SD card.

          The smart phone sports dual shooters which are 8 mega pixel auto focus camera with flash on the rear and 2 mega pixel fixed focus camera on the front. The 8 mega pixel main camera’s testing results are stating that the shooter can take pictures beautifully in daylight in the outdoors. But the indoor performance is grainy and the low light performance is poor. The front camera is exclusively for video chatting which is sufficient for the purpose.

          The handset is powered by a standard 2000 mAh Li-Ion battery. According to the Company, the battery provides 7 hours 45 mins talk time and 225 hours standby time. But our tests are clarifying that the details are only for normal usage. But the smart phone engaged with heavy usage which included 3G, maximum level screen brightness, two hours and more calls, net browsing (including videos and pictures), gaming, playing local videos and songs, the device lasted for only 5-6 hours.

          Advanced connectivity options like 3G , Bluetooth 4.0 , Wi-Fi and USB 2.0, latest sensor list such as Light Sensor, Motion Sensor and Proximity Sensor are enable the device.
