New 2015 TEMPTED TO BUY SMART PHONES By Patricbensen

Make it new make it better
Mobile phone line-ups are a little like Hollywood movie franchises, and by now we have a pretty good idea of what we should be expecting to see over the next 12 months: all the big players will be producing sequels to their blockbusters of 2014 and we can look forward to better photos, faster performance and lighter handsets across the board.
With the HTC One M8, the iPhone 6, the iPhone 6 Plus, the Nexus 6, the Galaxy S5 and many others we've been spoiled over the last year, but there's always room for improvement: QHD displays, DSLR-quality cameras, high-end audio, 4K video and the Snapdragon 810 should make 2015 a year to remember for smartphone buyers.
HTC One M9

1. HTC One M9

Predicted release date: March 2015
We like the sound of a rumoured partnership between Bose and HTC to bring even better audio to the HTC One M9 than the M8 had, as well as the obligatory upgrades to processing power, memory and display resolution (up to 2560 x 1440 pixels no less).
Android phones are still looking for the magic formula as far as high-quality camera optics are concerned, but HTC is a good a bet as anyone to get it right. Hopefully the M9 will build on the progress made with the M8 and finally give the iPhone something to think about in the photography department.
Samsung

2. Samsung Galaxy S6

Predicted release date: March 2015
Both the high specs of the Galaxy S5 and the premium style of the Alpha point to where Samsung is going to be heading with the Galaxy S6: its most powerful, best-looking phone yet, (with an all-new look if Project Zero is anything to go by) and that's worth getting excited about.
We're hoping for a thin, curved, all-metal chassis, a resolution boost for the screen and perhaps the overlapping display trick we saw with the Galaxy Note Edge. A 64-bit CPU and Android Lollipop should both make their way into Samsung's next flagship phone too.
iPhone

3. iPhone 6S/7

Predicted release date: September 2015
You can usually set your watch by Apple's annual iPhone refresh, and 2015 should be no different with the release of the iPhone 6S/7. We hope Apple ditches the 'S' naming system and introduces super-strong sapphire glass as well as applying the usual specs bump.
The refreshed 2014 design is unlikely to change significantly in 2015, but there are early rumours of a major camera upgrade in the pipeline that will bring DSLR-like quality to the iPhone's snaps — if they're true, we're looking forward to seeing it in practice.
LG

4. LG G4

Predicted release date: May 2015
The LG G3 impressed us a great deal but we still want more from the LG G4. The rumoured reduction in screen size to 5.3 inches would make handling it a touch easier and we might even see the bendable technology that LG has been working on.
The 20.7MP camera upgrade we've heard rumours about would be most welcome and we want to see an improvement in the chassis design too: how about a metal casing, LG? And better battery performance while you're at it.
Sony Xperia

5. Sony Xperia Z4

Predicted release date: January 2015
There's a lot riding on the Xperia Z4 for Sony, which we might see as early as the CES exhibition in January. A super-fast processor and a camera upgrade are the order of the day but Sony needs to create a big splash if it's to make a dent in terms of market sales.
Of course we'd like to see the 4K video recording feature actually work this time around, while a QHD display is the logical next step up for the screen. The hardware design is due a refresh, too: would smaller bezels, a more svelte form and rounded corners be too much to ask?
Samsung Galaxy Note

6. Samsung Galaxy Note 5

Predicted release date: October 2015
Will the Note 5 be Samsung's first device to sport a 4K UHD display? We wouldn't complain at a 2160 x 3840 pixel resolution or a 746ppi density rating, even if we have to wait until October to get our hands on it.
With the line between phones and phablets becoming more and more blurred, the Note 5 will need to do something special to stand out. Be prepared for a 6-inch display and an even better version of the S Pen stylus.
Nexus

7. The new Nexus

Predicted release date: October 2015
Where does Google take the Nexus smartphone next (if indeed it takes it anywhere at all)? It can't use the Nexus 7 name for one thing, and it needs to overcome the supply problems that have dogged the Nexus 6.
Lollipop is a mobile OS that looks good and works well so its successor should also hit the mark, and as for the hardware we'd like to see something that can be used easily in one hand — and how about a fingerprint scanner too?
Microsoft

8. Microsoft Lumia 1030

Predicted release date: September 2015
We've been waiting for a successor to the Lumia 1020 since 2013 and in that time Microsoft has taken over the reins from Nokia. A leaked image we saw earlier this month suggests the wait might finally be over sometime next year- but not until the second half, at least.
If the rumoured Lumia 1030 is actually a real device then the star of the show is likely to be its 50MP camera. A snapper of that quality with the Lumia technology behind it might even be worth switching to Windows Phone for.
Moto X

9. Moto X+2

Predicted release date: September 2015
We've only just been treated to a revamped Moto X (originally known as the X+1) so the next version is still some way off. It's a great handset though, and next year's model stands a good chance of stealing some of the Nexus market.
What we really want to see is more of the same from Motorola: clever features like Active Display, competitive pricing, a stand-out screen and some internal improvements would be just the job, with more customisation options as well.
OnePlus

10. OnePlus Two

Predicted release date: April 2015
We don't know much about the OnePlus Two but the signs are that it will retain the same low price level as its predecessor, which instantly puts it high on our watch list — a more straightforward buying procedure would be a big improvement, of course.
The OnePlus One delivered high-end specs at a budget price and we'd expect that formula to continue with the 2015 model. One upgrade we can predict is the arrival of Android 5.0 Lollipop to the OnePlus line-up, which should make it more appealing than ever.

New How to Back Up and Restore Text Messages on Samsung Devices By Patricbensen

Text messages are usually very important as they may have witnessed the valuable memory of our life, or even give evidence for some disputes. You may accidentally press the button of "delete", and all of the messages on your Samsung devices are gone. It's definitely a disaster to lost any important text messages. But I would like to say, we have many options to avoid data loss, like regularly backup is the most effective and reliable way. If you didn't back up before, also, you don't need to get too tensed, as the deleted messages are not truly erased from your Samsung device but hidden by the system to free up storage space. Here I will display the most common way to backup and restore text messages on Samsung.

Option 1. Backup and Retrieve Text Messages Using Samsung Kies

Samsung Kies is a powerful but free application launched by Samsung Company. It can transfer photos and videos to save memorable moments and free up space. The most incredible and usable function is that backing up important content from your Samsung device-including text messages, contacts, and more on your computer.

Backup text messages on Samsung

  1. Connect Samsung device to your computer.
  2. Run Kies and hit button "Back Up/Restore"
  3. Mark the checkbox next to "Messages" on the list, or you can Select all items. Click "Backup".
  4. Wait for your backup to finish, then click the Complete button.
All of your text messages on Samsung device is backed up with Kies.

Restore lost text messages from Samsung

  1. Connect your Samsung device to your computer.
  2. Start Kies and enter the "Back up/Restore" tab on the top and click "Restore data" on the left.
  3. Select backup file which you want to restore text messages from the drop-down box. If you cannot find the file, scroll to the bottom, click "Find file".
  4. Mark "Messages" you need to restore from backup file, and hit "Restore". Then, click "Complete" when the restore is finished.

Note: Text messages in the backup file will be restored using kies. In the meantime, your new messages added after backing up are gone when syncing with kies.

Option 2. Backup and Restore Text Messages with Android Data Recovery

If by any chance that you didn't back up before you lost text messages, and you didn't find all your precious text by using kies, I recommend a very useful tool: Android Data Recovery to you. It is specially designed to recover data from Android phones, including Samsung S3/S3 mini/S4/S5/S5 mini/Note series etc. and HTC, LG, Sony Motorola mobiles. You can not only backup and restore text messages but transfer and retrieve lost data like contacts, call log, photos, videos etc. on Samsung.

  1. Get a Jihosoft Android Data Recovery program. Simply download and install it on your computer.
  2. Connect your Samsung device to computer via an USB cable. You'd better connect one Samsung device at a time and keep it connected until the recovery process finishes.
  3. Enable USB debugging on your Samsung (optional). If you already enabled USB debugging, just disregard this step.
  4. Analyze and scan data on Samsung device. When the new window shows "Ready to Scan" after you enabled USB debugging, click "Start" to scan data. (Keep an eye on your Samsung device, you may get a pop-up message, just click "OK" to allow USB debugging.)
  5. Backup and restore data on Samsung. All data found on your Samsung will be listed in the result. You can preview both the existing and deleted messages, select existing messages you want to backup and transfer, click "Recover" to save them on computer. Meanwhile, you can mark "Messages" and hit "Recover" button to restore deleted text messages.

Note: You need to know that once you added new data after the text messages lost, the deleted SMS will be probably overwritten by new content, which makes deleted text messages unrecoverable.

New Samsung and BlackBerry Deny Buyout Talks By Patricbensen

Update 1: BlackBerry issued a short statement denying it's held talks with Samsung "with respect to any possible offer to purchase" the company. The Waterloo-based firm said it wouldn't give further comment since it, like many, doesn't comment on rumors or speculation.
Update 2: Now Samsung has chimed in, calling reports it's interested in buying BlackBerry unfounded. "Media reports of the acquisition are groundless," a company spokeswoman told Reuters. The outlet earlier in the day cited a person familiar with the matter and documents to report Samsung had wanted to buy BlackBerry for as much as $7.5 billion (about £4.3bn, AU$7.98bn).

Original article below...

If you've ever wanted Samsung to design its Galaxy S6 with a physical keyboard, your dreams may come true. The company is reportedly eyeing an acquisition of Canadian smartphone-maker BlackBerry in a deal that is valued at as much as $7.5 billion (about £4.3bn, AU$7.98bn), according to Reuters. If the deal happens, the consumer-centric Galaxy-maker could add more security features to its phones to appeal to both consumers and enterprise users, including bringing BlackBerry's famed keyboards to its range of products.

Bringing the best of BlackBerry to Galaxy

The reported offer to acquire BlackBerry will not only help Samsung gain ground amongst enterprise users, it may also help the company be more competitive against Apple in the consumer segment. With Apple having recently launched Activation Lock to deter thefts of iPhones, a more secure Galaxy experience could ease security conscious consumers who worry about the safety of data stored on mobile devices.
Additionally, with BlackBerry Balance, Samsung's phones could become more attractive to enterprise users in the BYOD space. As users increasingly carry one phone for both work and personal use, BlackBerry Balance helps to securely store work content while giving users the ability to download and run consumer apps.
Until the rise of the iPhone, BlackBerry's devices have been a darling of the enterprise and government space due in large part to ease-of-use, as well as enhanced messaging and security features. Despite market share losses to competing Android and iPhone smartphones, BlackBerry still retains a cult following with its aptly named BlackBerry Classic, the productive powerhouse Passport, and the touch-only BlackBerry Z10 and Z30 phones.
And while BlackBerry's coveted security and enterprise features could land on a future Galaxy S or Galaxy Note series phone, the benefits may also extend to Samsung's nascent Tizen devices.
Though this isn't the first time we've heard of a potential BlackBerry buyout, if accurate, the deal also brings BlackBerry's industry-leading smartphone keyboards to Samsung, as Samsung would also gain access to BlackBerry's patents.

BlackBerry's decline

BlackBerry's failure to adapt to the consumer market when the iPhone launched in 2007 had cost the company its leadership position. The company saw its user base erode with the failure of the BlackBerry Storm's click screen, an app store that was lacking in content, and features - such as lackluster cameras - that did not cater to an evolving multimedia-centric world.
Fighting for a turnaround under current CEO John Chen, BlackBerry attempted to cut cost by reducing its workforce, laying off as many as 4,500 employees in September 2013, or roughly 40% of its staff. The company is also partnering with Foxconn to reduce manufacturing costs.
Most recently, BlackBerry opened up its popular BBM messaging platform to users on rival iOS, Android, and Windows Phone platforms to compete against popular services like Facebook Messenger and iMessage. In November, BlackBerry also announced that it was partnering with Samsung to provide end-to-end security for Android
