New 5 features that the Samsung Galaxy S6 and HTC One M9 are both expected to have By Patricbensen

5 features that the Samsung Galaxy S6 and HTC One M9 are both expected to haveMarch 1 will be a very important day for Samsung and HTC, as both have scheduled MWC 2015 press events for that day. The two companies have made it pretty clear that they're going to announce their next-generation flagship smartphones on March 1: the Galaxy S6, and the One M9, respectively.

While the handsets that precede the S6 and the M9 - Galaxy S5 and One (M8) - are very different devices when compared to each other, the new models are expected to have quite a few things in common (besides Android Lollipop). Note that we're talking about the regular Galaxy S6 and One M9 here, not about the S6 Edge and M9 Plus.

There are (at least) 5 features that both the Galaxy S6 and One M9 will most likely offer - although, of course, we'll be able to confirm them only after Samsung and HTC announce the two smartphones.
Features that Samsung's Galaxy S6 and HTC's One M9 will probably have in common

1. All-metal designs

For the first time ever, a Galaxy S flagship smartphone will feature an all-metal body. The teaser images that Samsung recently revealed suggest that the Galaxy S6 will be pretty thin - possibly around 7mm (if the thinness of the Galaxy Alpha, Galaxy A5, or Galaxy A7 is of any indication).

While the One M9 will probably not be that thin, its metal unibody design should still be great to look at. We can hardly wait to put the Galaxy S6 and the One M9 next to each other to see which is prettier.

2. 64-bit, octa-core processors

The processors powering the Galaxy S6 and the One M9 will certainly not be made by the same company. However, they'll both have 8 cores with 64-bit support.

The Galaxy S6 will use Samsung's own Exynos 7420, while the HTC One M9 is almost surely going to use Qualcomm's Snapdragon 810. It's too early to say which will be faster, but, once again, we can hardy wait to compare them.
64-bit, octa-core processors

3. Rear cameras of at least 16 MP

The Galaxy S5 already has a 16 MP rear camera, and it looks like the S6's main camera will also include a 16-Megapixel sensor - but we're guessing this will provide improved image quality.

The One M9, on the other hand, is expected to bring a dramatic change in the rear camera department, replacing the 4 MP UltraPixel Duo set-up of the One (M8) with a regular 20 MP camera. Hopefully, image quality will be dramatically improved, too.
Rear cameras of at least 16 MP

4. Advanced front-facing cameras.

Nowadays, a great front-facing camera is a must for all flagship smartphones. Last year's HTC One (M8) came with a 5 MP, wide-lens front-facing shooter, and the One M9 is expected to have a similar camera on the front.

As for the Galaxy S6, this, too, should feature a 5 MP wide-angle front-facing camera, possibly the same that's found on the Galaxy Note 4 (or an improved variant of it).
 Advanced front-facing cameras.

5. Power saving modes.

A smartphone's battery life is very important. That's why, recently, Samsung and HTC have introduced features like Ultra Power Saving Mode, and Extreme Power Saving Mode - which are available on the companies' current flagship handsets.

We're pretty sure that the Galaxy S6 and the One M9 (both of which might pack batteries under 3000 mAh) will also make use of intelligent power saving modes.

Interestingly, the majority of our readers seems to believe that the HTC One M9 will be better than the Samsung Galaxy S6. Obviously, we'll have to thoroughly test the two handsets before we can agree, or disagree on this one.

New SAMSUNG SMARTPHONES; THE BEST AND THE WORST! By Patricbensen

The best and worst Samsung smartphones we've ever reviewed

Say what you want about Samsung, but one can't deny that the company has released hundreds, if not thousands of different phones overt the past few years. Naturally, we have reviewed a fair amount of them, and just as you might suspect, Samsung has had its highs and lows.

We've seen devices that have carved their way in smartphone history, one way or the other; the factories of the South Korea based giant have also churned out some cringe-worthy handsets that best remain forgotten.

What you'll find below are five of Samsung's handsets that we've rated the highest and another five ones that have received the lowest review ratings. Note that due to the sheer numbers of Samsung phones we've only included such devices that run an iteration of Google's Android platform. Ladies and gentlemen, here are the best and worst Samsung smartphones we've seen so far!
The best and worst Samsung smartphones we've ever reviewed

Samsung Galaxy Nexus
Rating: 9.5

With its superb display, commendable performance, and stock Android experience, the Samsung Galaxy Nexus was one of the best phones of 2011. What's more, it's one of the best devices Samsung devices of all time. It scored a rating of 9.5 in our review. The only gripes we had with it were the somewhat unimpressive design and the video recording, which left something to be desired.

Samsung Epic 4G
Rating: 9.5

One of the greatest QWERTY-enabled Samsung handsets, the Epic 4G came with a Super AMOLED display, amazing battery life, and great overall performance. This was more than enough to make it one of the very best Samsung devices you could get it 2010. The Samsung Epic 4G got launched as a Sprint-exclusive, but nonetheless, scored an impressive 9.5 in our review.
Samsung Galaxy S III
Rating: 9.3

The Samsung Galaxy S III was quite different from its predecessor, the Galaxy S II, in many aspects, but that's totally not a bad thing. On the contrary, the Galaxy S III provided an overall Android user experience to behold (as per 2012's standards). That's why it also earned a rating of 9.3.

Samsung Galaxy S4
Rating: 9.3

Yes, it was uninspiringly plastic, it did not perform very well in the call quality aspect, but in the end, the Samsung Galaxy S4 has more pros than cons in its bag. We were particularly wooed by the large display that was fitted in the S4's compact body. The Galaxy S4 secured a rating of 9.3 in our review.

Samsung Galaxy Note 4
Rating: 9.3

Don't act surprised, there's hardly anything not to like about the Galaxy Note 4. The computational power, the stunning Super AMOLED display, as well as the mind-boggingly amazing camera were the reasons why the Note 4 is one of the best-received and more acclaimed Samsung devices of late.

The best and worst Samsung smartphones we've ever reviewed

Samsung Galaxy Grand Neo
Rating: 5

Let's be honest - we didn't like the Galaxy Grand Neo at all. And why should we? It came with a totally-disappointing display, bezels as large as the Grand Canyon, poor video recording capabilities, etc. Shall we continue? We guess we've been in a good mood when we reviewed this Samsung device, as it has scored a rating of 5.

Samsung Galaxy Exhibit
Rating: 5

The Samsung Galaxy Exhibit had a pretty good battery life and... that was pretty much it. Almost every other aspect of this phone was extremely disappointing, most notably the poor display, the cheap plastic build, and the extremely bad performance. Ugh.

Samsung DoubleTime
Rating: 4

Where to begin with? This entry-level device is certainly among the very worst entry-level Samsung phones that we have ever reviewed. With this device, in particular, enjoying the beauty of Android proved worthy of a masochistic Herculean task.

Samsung Gravity Smart
Rating: 4

If you think that the Gravity Smart was a "good" phone, then you are certainly not understanding the gravity of the situation. To be honest, its physical QWERTY keyboard was not that bad, but the uninspiring design, cheap build, and unacceptable performance dragged it all the way down to a rating of 4.

Samsung Dart
Rating: 4

The only good thing about the Dart was its price - you could get it free with a two-year contract. We don't know how many users jumped on the bandwagon, but we are somewhat sure that most of them have sorrowfully regretted this decision afterwards.
