New How to fix and prevent iPhone 6 Overheating By Patricbensen

In this post, you will find helpful tips, preventive measures and fixes for overheating problems with the new iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus.

It's normal for iPhones to feel warm with prolonged use, when streaming videos, playing games, or downloading multiple apps simultaneously.

By design, iPhones including the latest iPhone 6 and 6 Plus can normally operate up to 35 degree Celsius and should never get hot to the point that it would be uncomfortable to handle. However, some users of the new iPhones especially those who are living in a place that gets warmer than 35 degree Celsius have reported an issue in which their phone is overheating. Apparently, the environment's temperature is to blame in this case. But there are also other cases of overheating issues that are not associated with extremely hot environment.

If you are one of those who are experiencing this same problem, we've listed some helpful workarounds to help you deal with it.

You will know if your iPhone 6 is overheating when you are getting a message prompt saying, "iPhone needs to cool down before you can use it." If you are seeing this message, simply turn off your iPhone, place it in a cooler place and allow it to cool down for a few minutes or hours. By then it should function normally again.

Overheating can also be due to your iPhone case. Some third-party accessories like the case may prevent your iPhone from cooling properly as your iPhone's exterior functions a cooling surface. To ensure this is not causing the problem, try to remove the case, otherwise, try to use a different case and see if that fixes that problem.

If your iPhone gets extremely hot when charging or if it is plugged into anything, try to unplug it.

There are also some iPhone 6 features that may trigger the device to get extremely hot or overheat. Among these include Bluetooth, Location Services, and iCloud. Try to turn off or disable these features temporarily and see if the problem persists.

  • To disable Bluetooth, just go to Settings, and tap Bluetooth to toggle it OFF
  • To disable Location Services, go to Settings-> Privacy -> Location Services
  • To disable iCloud, go to Settings -> iCloud.

Others who have experienced overheating problem fixed it by restarting their iPhone. Here's how to restart your iPhone 6:

  • Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button until the red slider displays.
  • Drag the slider to turn the iPhone off completely.
  • Once the phone turns off, press and hold the Sleep/Wake button again until the Apple logo displays.

If your iPhone 6 still gets too hot, contact Apple Support and escalate the issue. It's possible that the problem is due to a faulty hardware or the device may be defective.

Hope this helps.

New How to fix Samsung Galaxy Note 4 "Unfortunately, Contacts has stopped" error By Patricbensen

The "Unfortunately, contacts has stopped" error prompt has been appearing in different Android devices including a series of Galaxy tabs and smartphones like the Galaxy Note 4. This error is tied to a certain update on the Google+ application with most of those who have encountered it have enabled the Auto Update feature on Google+.

Knowing the main culprit is on Google+, a highly recommended solution is to disable the application or uninstall recent updates to Google+. Meanwhile, some Android device owners have fixed the same problem by simply disabling the Auto Update feature in the Google Play app.

To do so, you have to go to the Google+ app page, tap the Menu icon (three vertical dots), and then remove the checkmark from the Auto Update checkbox.

But if you are having getting the same error message and wouldn't opt to do the aforementioned solutions, you can try the following workarounds first.

Alternative Workarounds

1. Clear Cache and Data. Try to clear temporary storage area of your Contacts. Here's how: Go to Settings->Application Manager-> All Tab -> Contacts -> Clear Cache

You may also select Clear Data but please note that choosing this option will erase all your customized data in your Phone app settings. But some users who have tried this method found it helpful and has fixed the problem. Here's how: Open the Phone app->Clear Cache->Clear Data

2. Configure/change Date Format. In some cases, where the error has been tied to an incompatible date format, you can try to configure or change the date format on your device. Here's how: Go to Settings-> More-> Date and Time, and then change the format to 24 hours.

3. Uninstall Faulty Apps. Some users have also found that some rogue apps can also trigger this problem to occur on their device. To help you isolate and determine if this is really the cause, try to enter Safe Mode on your Note 4 and see if the error message still prompts. If it won't, then it's more likely a third-party app that is triggering it to appear. In this case, exit Safe Mode and try to disable or uninstall the most recent app which you suspect is at fault.

4. Perform a Hard Reset. Reset your phone to factory defaults. Again, don't forget to back up all your personal information and contents before you perform a hard reset for they will be erased in the process.

These workarounds have also helped a number of Galaxy device owners including Note 4 who encountered the "Unfortunately Contacts has stopped" error message after getting the Lollipop update.

Hope this helps.

New Samsung Galaxy Note 5 review By Patricbensen

http://cdn.mos.techradar.com/art/mobile_phones/Samsung/Galaxy%20Note%205/review/samsung-galaxy-note-5-review-hero-1200-80.jpg

The Samsung Galaxy Note 5 is either a game changer or deal breaker for longtime fans of the Android phablet, now that it has a premium look and feel.
Its 5.7-inch display, super-fast processor, improved camera and S Pen stylus are joined by a new, glass-and-metal design that reflects the solid construction of the Samsung Galaxy S6.
That makes it a huge leap over last year's Galaxy Note 4, which backed the phone in cheap, textured plastic. Samsung's build quality is finally fit to compete with the aluminum iPhone 6 Plus and the Huawei Ascend Mate 7.
All of this comes at a cost, however. There's no microSD card slot for expandable storage or removable battery to swap out, like on the Note 4 and LG G4, and the new sealed-shut design is slippery.

Design

The Samsung Galaxy Note 5 has the same basic shape as the Note 4, but the construction of the two phones couldn't be any more different.
http://cdn1.mos.techradar.futurecdn.net//art/mobile_phones/Samsung/Galaxy%20Note%205/review/samsung-galaxy-note-5-review-vs-galaxy-note-4-650-80.jpg
Galaxy Note 5 (left) is smaller and more refined than the Note 4 (right)

Gone is the faux leather back that was made of plastic but felt more like cheap snakeskin. It's been replaced by a glass sheet that's infused into a metal frame, just like on the Galaxy S6.
Its back glass also curves inward on the right and left sides. This smaller footprint and curved back made it easier to hold in my palm, despite its phablet size.here's a curved glass back that makes it easier to hold.

http://cdn2.mos.techradar.futurecdn.net//art/mobile_phones/Samsung/Galaxy%20Note%205/review/samsung-galaxy-note-5-review-glass-back-650-80.jpg

The Galaxy Note 5 colors include Sapphire Black and White Pearl in the US, with options of Titanium Silver and Gold Platinum on offer elsewhere. The aluminum frame is silver in all cases, with a color-matching power button on the right and volume rocker on the left. These buttons are thin, but feel strong when pressed and, importantly, are situated in the upper portion of the frame, exactly where fingers clutch the phone.
http://cdn1.mos.techradar.futurecdn.net/art/mobile_phones/Samsung/Galaxy%20Note%205/review/samsung-galaxy-note-5-colors-650-80.jpg

Display

The Galaxy Note 5 has already been heralded as the best smartphone display ever tested. It retains that 5.7-inch screen size and quad HD resolution of 2,560 x 1,440 pixels. There are 518 pixels per inch behind the Gorilla Glass 4 – fewer than the 5.1-inch Galaxy S6. But don't be fooled by the on-paper specs.
http://cdn0.mos.techradar.futurecdn.net//art/mobile_phones/Samsung/Galaxy%20Note%205/review/samsung-galaxy-note-5-review-display-resolution-650-80.jpg

S Pen stylus

The bright and colorful display packs some more neat tricks, thanks to the returning S Pen that really differentiates the Galaxy Note 5 from the Galaxy S6 Edge+. This plastic stylus now slides out from the bottom of the phone's frame after clicking it in. There's no other functionality from this clickable head, except perhaps inviting you to begin a bad OCD habit.
The new functionality comes when you enable "Screen off memo" in settings. This allows you to write on the display while it's in its "off," or at least in a nearly black state. This is really handy for jotting down everything from quick thoughts, to last-second grocery lists. It's all saved in Samsung's S Notes app, which returns with white or yellow legal pad backgrounds.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 5 is a beast of a phone in size and performance, since it inherits the chart-topping Galaxy S6 internal specs, then tweaks them a bit for even better results.

Performance

Samsung fitting an extra 1GB of RAM in this phone – meaning it can handle more tasks at once – really shows through our best GeekBench 3 scores to date.
Samsung's Exynos 7420 processor, combined with 4GB, seems like an unstoppable force, and is a specs trend that should continue with next year's Samsung Galaxy S7. By then, Qualcomm will have launched its Snapdragon 820 processor, maybe in the Nexus 5 2015 or Nexus 6 2015. But for right now, Samsung is setting and then beating its own benchmarks.

Movies and Music

There are two main movie apps pre-installed and two more for music, and all of them prove that the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 is more of a visual titan. Its audio prowess leaves room for improvement.
http://cdn1.mos.techradar.futurecdn.net/art/mobile_phones/Samsung/Galaxy%20Note%205/review/samsung-galaxy-note-5-review-movies-650-80.jpg
Movies look great on Samsung's 5.7-inch Super AMOLED display
Air View gestures thrown in. Both apps ace the look.Where movies and music let me down on this device was in the speaker department. Just like the speakerphone call quality, the audio here shoots out of Galaxy Note 5's side frame. It's very noticeable that it points in the wrong direction when trying to enjoy a movie or song through the built-in speakers.
This is something that the HTC One M9, Sony Xperia Z3 Compact and even the new Moto G 2015 get right with front-facing speakers. With a large, cinema-friendly display, Samsung nearly has a multimedia juggernaut.

Gaming

Without the hint of slowdown in benchmarking tests, I didn't find any performance issues when playing games. Battery life took a hit when running through these game apps, as expected.

Camera

Megapixels don't always mean everything when it comes to the best camera phones, so some 13MP, 16MP, 20MP snappers can't compare to the 8MP iPhone 6 camera.
That's not the case with the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 camera, because it's 16MP and actually lives up to that Apple-doubling number. With the same Sony Exmor RS IMX240 sensor that's in the Galaxy S6, S6 Edge, S6 Edge+ and S6 Active, it gives shooters a wide f/1.9 aperture.
All of that translates into the Note 5 camera snapping brighter photos with more on-point color accuracy compared to last year's Galaxy Note 4. There's nothing more satisfying than seeing a photo come out the first time you hit the virtual shutter button.
http://cdn3.mos.techradar.futurecdn.net//art/mobile_phones/Samsung/Galaxy%20Note%205/review/camera%20samples/samsung-galaxy-note-5-reveiw-camera-sample-10-650-80.jpg
The Note 5 camera takes finely detailed photos

http://cdn2.mos.techradar.futurecdn.net//art/mobile_phones/Samsung/Galaxy%20Note%205/review/camera%20samples/comparison/vs-iphone-6/samsung-galaxy-ntoe-5-review-camera-comparison-7-650-80.JPG
 iPhone 6
The front-facing 5MP camera is a different story. It provides those same wider selfie photos with a f/1.9 aperture and more vibrant colors, but doesn't do nearly as well in low-light conditions. The iPhone produces more realistic skin tones, while Samsung applies a "beauty mode" slider that makes people look waxy. It can be turned off, but the results aren't much better.

Battery Life

The Samsung Galaxy Note 5 battery life was controversial, even before the phone was officially announced. Rumors that it had no removable battery turned out to be true.
This is a deal breaker for power users who routinely swap out their battery at will, and carry around a spare. After all, the Note series has always appealed to enterprise clients.

If only the Note 5 (left) has a removable battery like the Note 4 (right)
Yes, the battery capacity is pared down, from 3,220mAh in the Note 4 to 3,020mAh in the Note 5, but Samsung's hardware and software optimizations more than make up for that.
Battery recharging is even less of an issue, because the Galaxy Note 5 charges faster than previous Samsung phones. The company's Fast Charging standard can fully replenish dead the battery in 1 hour and 20 minutes. Plug the same Note 5 in a normal USB charger and it takes 4 hours and 20 minutes.

Charging time is 1 hour and 20 minutes - 3 hours less with this included charger
That's a huge advantage to carrying around Samsung's slightly bulkier charger. Through tests, I found that Qualcomm-backed QuickCharge 2.0 chargers from Motorola, LG and Google Nexus phones also do the trick.

Final verdict

The Galaxy Note series has never been inexpensive. And now its aesthetics match the price, thanks to a glass back that feels excellent in two hands. Be careful of what you wish for, though. There's no microSD card slot or removable battery anymore. Power users can blame everyone who complained about the company's plastic-clad phones.
As long as you can live without those two features, the Note 5 is still worth your upgrade. It has top-of-the-line specs that set new records, a 5.7-inch display that's rightfully considered the best – even outdoors – and a camera takes the best photos compared to other phones I've tested. This S Pen-compatible phablet is mightier, and is the one Google Nexus 6 2015 and iPhone 6S Plus need to beat.

New How to Fix Samsung Galaxy S6 Screen Flickering Issue By Patricbensen

This content is intended for those who are experiencing screen flickering issues with their Samsung Galaxy S6.

Screen flickering problem is typically caused by a faulty hardware like when a device was dropped and/or physically damaged after a strong impact. Mobile devices like tablets and smartphones are prone to this problem given their sizes. As a matter of fact, two of our readers have relayed to us similar problem on their Samsung Galaxy S6 screen which according to them flickers and the display colors turned pink with almost inverted display.

In most devices, pinky colors and black spots on the display usually occurs when there's a loose cable or LCD wiring faults on tablets. Same thing can also occur on smartphones including the S6.

Unfortunately, hardware problems like this can only be resolved by a technician. This means you need to take your phone to a repair shop for hardware checkup and repair. But if you are highly skilled on such tech-stuff and possess enough guts to do the repair by yourself, then you can try to open the phone, check the connections, and secure those that you found loose. Just remember though that doing this will void your phone's warranty.

On the other hand, screen flickering problem can also happen due to a software glitch like a buggy application. There are also some cases when the display flickers after updating the device software. Apparently, it's the update that's triggering the problem.

If the problem happens after installing a new app, then try to temporarily disable the app and see if it'll fix it. Once you've proven that the newly installed app is causing you this trouble, then you can decide to either remove the app or contact the app developer to escalate the problem and have them fixed it. You can also try running the device in safe mode to see if other third-party apps are triggering your phone to act this way.

Here's how to enter Safe Mode in Galaxy S6:
  • Power off the phone.
  • Turn the phone back on while pressing and holding the Volume Down button.
  • Keep holding the Volume Down button until you see the Home screen displays.
When the Home screen loads, you should see Safe Mode at the lower left corner. This indicates the phone is already running in Safe Mode. In this state, all third-party apps are temporarily disabled. Observe your phone for a few minutes and see if the screen still flickers without all third-party apps.

To get out of Safe mode, just power off the phone as you normally do by pressing and holding the Power button, and then select Power Off from the given options.

In case the screen flickers after performing an update, try to reboot the device (soft reset). If a soft reset won't do any good, then your last resort would be a master reset, which will restore device to factory defaults. Please note though that all your personal information and customized contents stored in your device will be erased in the process. So you might as well consider backing them up beforehand.

If a master reset is not your choice and the problem happens after updating your Galaxy S6 firmware, then you may contact Samsung Support or your carrier to escalate the issue and ask for recommendations.

We live in a World surrounded by network of networks called the Internet. Today Internet has become the basic need of every human being. By means of Internet we connect to other computers worldwide for sharing information. Every computer or any android device using the Internet has an IP address which uniquely identifies your device on the network. Two device can not have same IP address. By default your IP address is unsecure which means if any hacker gets to know your IP, be it of your computer or android, he can track your online activity and intercept your information before it reach to the desired server and can roll back malicious instructions back to you in order to hack your personal info.

However it is also not easy to find one's IP address if you have not shared with anyone, but there are many tools available that can scan your wireless routers to find your IP address, there make, model and configuration settings. If your network is wired then you should not worry much, but being online on a wireless network opens gates to many security risks. But one should not worry much if they are using a dynamic IP instead of static IP.

How To Protect Your Android Phone From IP Tracking

To protect your android IP address, you should use a VPN service. A VPN service is best known for anonymizing your identity on the internet, so that nobody can know your original location. Major implementations of VPNs include OpenVPN and IPsec.

VPN services are not free, but they are also not much costly. Cost depends on the type of the device you are using. Currently a popular VPN service is Avast VPN which costs you around $20 per year.
