New Nokia XL Dual latest review: solidly and comfortably crafted phone By Patricbensen

          Nokia XL is a the third venture of  the Nokia X family, the other two being Nokia X (review) and Nokia X+. During the time of its development The phone was known as "Asha Monster". The price tag of this modified version of Nokia’s first smartphone Nokia X, is Rs. 11,489. It is actually the first smartphonen market from Nokia after adopting Microsoft completely.

          The Nokia XL runs on Nokia X Software Platform 1.0, a modified Android Jelly Bean 4.1.2. This dual SIM using phone with 5 inch LCD TFT display is powered by a 1GHz dual-core processor with 768MB of RAM and an Adreno 203 GPU. The XL’s five-inch screen is larger than its forerunners, but its display resolution(480 X800 pixels)tempts the users to frown on it.

          This solidly and comfortably crafted  phone with 4GB internal storage is available in six different colors- White, Black, Red, Green, Blue, Yellow. The low internal storage  capacity can be enhanced up to 32GB by a micro SD card. The device is gifted with a 5 MP auto focus  rear camera with flash. In it you will get photos with 2592 × 1944p resolution. A 2 MP front camera gives you 1600×1200 pixel resolution. The flashlight and the front snapper are lacking in its immediate predecessors.

          The Affordable Android handset, Nokia XL has a removable Standard LI-ion battery with 2,000mAh capacity. In XL, You can enjoy Wi-fi(802.11 b/ g/n), Bluetooth  (3.0)GPS, Headphones 3.5mm, Micro-USB and 3G. Along with this Nokia welcomes you  all to a  Nokia mix radio service  through this device.

          We think you may be a trifle uneasy about its poor battery life and  low resolution screen. Otherwise the device is good in this reliable price. The Motorola Moto G (review) stands as the closest opponent to XL since it comes under the same price range. Moto G offers you a higher RAM, better display quality, faster performance and  higher internal storage unlike the XL. Even though it is a modified Android device ,Google applications can play nothing on this smartphone. By the reason of that Nokia has its own application stores in the XL.
