This memory option does only tell about how the memory/RAM is being utilized by your phone and installed apps in a given time period. • Go to "Developer Options>Running services".
• On going to the above location you can see the default RAM manager in android dev options. 

• From here you can see the running apps and identify which apps are using high memory.
• You can even stop them by just tapping the app again tapping "Stop".
• It is this simple.
